What would be the best way to make a skill where a unit can "take cover" behind an object for extra defense / whatever? Is there a simple trigger / skill that I can use or would I have to make a whole system for this? I was considering (and still am) using Mechanical Form and forcing the player to stand still in cover but the player can take cover anywhere. I would have to issue an if / then to determine if it was in a suitable "cover" region but that would get messy fast.
Any ideas?
