Can't see some special effect in game

Hello guys... I have some problem with special effect:
1. Can't see an effect of unit with Model File special effect (Rain of Fire target)
2. Can't see some effect when i use them by triggers ( Special Effect - Create a special effect attached to the origin of (Picked unit) using Abilities\Spells\Orc\SpiritLink\SpiritLinkZapTarget.mdl )
3. 1. and 2. happen always when my imported icons become invisible in WE.

anyone know what is the reason of that? thx

When in-game, go to options, set the graphic option to high quality.

Or, some effects do not have death animation. That's why when you create and destroy, they don't really have the time to play any animation at all.

Or, some models (especially imported and missile models) do not have attachment point. That's why effects cannot be attached onto the unit and you can't see anything at the end of the day.

I guess that's it.

Yes, it worked but now these effects without destroying it last all the time on unit

These effect are like Spirit Link <Caster>, Spirit Link <Target>, Ancestral Spirit <Caster> so these are not imported or missile


I can't also in this time see my imported stuffs kB size, all are on 0 kB size
and also interessting is that dummy unit with Starfall (target) <Target> Model File is invisible now.
Also I imported some special effect model and I can't even see it in WE, when im trying to set it, it says: Can't load....model. Etc.
It's not the first time i set it, it was working well when my imported icons wasn't invisible in WE's abilities and kB size of all my imported stuffs was more than 0

You need to create the effect, set the effect into a variable, wait for few seconds and then only destroy the set variable.

You misunderstood me. What I meant was the model you attach your effect to. Meaning, if you have a custom unit model, if it does not have a attachment point, your effect will not appear on the custom model.

Shit happens sometimes. Happened to me as well. Usually happens when you import something new to your map. They will show 0 kb. But they're still there. Sometimes it comes back to normal if you close and reopen the map again. If it doesn't work, I hope you've saved a backup for your map.

ok... i set this special effects on variable but now the trigger runs more often than special effect's duration time (1.83 sec - Special Effect's duration and Trigger runs every 1 sec) and it still does not look like it should :(... but thx for an... simple idea.

My Dummy Units with Special Effect as Model File was already working... now just something happend and i dont know what :(

    Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
