Just triggered 2 spells, and despite that I've got mana cost and cooldown in the object editor, just one of them actually costs mana and has a cooldown. The other one is castable at any time, how do I change that?

Change what?
The one that's castable at any time?

Just edit the fields regarding manacost and cooldown >.>

You set the mana cost/cooldown for Channel or w/e dummy spell you are casting to activate your trigger? Also some abilities can't have a set mana cost or cooldown, I think the footman ability defend, but I may be mistaken.

The problem is that the triggered ability without a cooldown does have a cooldown and mana cost field where the costs are inserted, even typed that fat... This one is form Storm Bolt, which I know can have a mana cost. I didn't set the mana cost in the trigger, do I have to do that?

it may happen if you have the event "unit begins casting an ability" the cast will be interrupted before the mana is taken, i recommend using "unit starts the effect of an ability" as often as possible.
if this doesnt help show us your trigger please, maybe there is some other problem.

You can't set the manacost of a spell in a trigger.
Well, you can..

But it's a very roundabout method.
To be more accurate, there is no direct method of doing it.

I don't understand your problem, sorry.
Are you saying your custom Storm Bolt spell does not seem to have a manacost?
