Create Unit Towers

I am turning a regular guy/unit into a custom unit and then I am changing them into buildings for multiple reasons, like a TD game. When I test my game out, after I build the unit it doesnt attack the oncoming units, it doesnt even have to button that says attack. I can build a regular tower though and no dought it goes on attacking anything that comes near it but my unit wont!!
Please tell me what im doing wrong Thanks

Firstly, give it some attacks then under "Combat" look for Combat - Attacks Enabled, either mark them both, Attack one only or Attack two only.

I might not be right, but check the aquisition range and the range.

why dont you just make a custom building and change the model file to a units model file.

Yeah...then you can just edit the actually attacks, defence, dps etc.. Instead of making the custom units into structures..

Or you could just copy the tower... Paste the tower... And change it's model file... Since clearly the tower attacks haha...
