Lots of threads asking how to do certain abilities from other maps.
Personally, I don't care what kind of ability people make.
I don't care if its original. Its just an ability.
Some people are making a Dota. And I promote that too. I helped make the Dota template. Yes, I started it.
So heres my problem.
Some of you seem to think its OK to bash others who are asking questions about it. Ripping on people every time they post asking how make something. Lecturing them about using the template, or making a dota.
Now we have a problem.
Our users create this community. Whether you like it or not, EVERYONE comes here for help. Everyone comes here to learn.
Without users, this site would be NOTHING. Users and content alone make it what it is. Whether they are learning about triggers, spells, or how to make something - they are HERE and they are part of the community.
Let them make what they want.
The statue of liberty holds a torch to light the way. Shes not holding a fucking machine gun. Even though sometimes it may seem she should be, she still isn't.
Users create content.
Content creates a sites worth, and search engine scores.
Site worth and scores welcome new users.
Thus the site grows.
Hinder the growth of a community we have put countless, COUNTLESS hours into, and now we have a problem, and we will deal with it appropriately.
