After almost two years of development, it is my great pleasure to announce that the much anticipated Element TD 4.0 has been released.

We have worked tirelessly to bring you more to look forward to:

  • A handful of reworked and/or remade towers
  • A round of in-depth balance tweaks at all levels of gameplay
  • A few new and/or remade game modes
  • A refreshingly new terrain
  • A significantly updated loadscreen
  • A bunch of new features and commands
  • A host of performance optimizations
  • A slew of bug fixes

Allow me to present to you the worthy continuation of the Element TD series. I have received a lot of support from the community and my development team over the years, and this version is the culmination of our work. My vision has been realized with the 4.0, and I present to you the future of this genre.

I had downloaded it for a weeks ago, i juz luv it becauz it fixed lag issue in creeps have reincaration.

I don't see why all warcraft sites are so hyped about your map.

Anyway, I'll try it soon and maybe I'll regret saying that.

Amazing map that has brought alot of good times at LAN partys and playing online, great to see that your still working on it :)

I played with you on B.net like, yesterday I think. I was H-man, got wiped out around level 35 because I am not so great at TDs. Anyways, it's great, I really like the new terrain.

I see, it is so cool! What I was playing was the 4.0 Public Beta? Nice fog on the black areas :)

Just played it in Single-Player, a lot of things! Like it is so much easier to upgrade towers, but shouldn't you increase Pure Towers limit and lumber at the final Ronald Round?

Yey, I really want the terrain at the bottom right to be imrpoved, it looks kinda empty.

Element TD 4.1 Released!

4.1 Released!

Changelog:

-Fixed the multiple builder bug
-Fixed Ronald crash bug
-Fixed healing heals upon leak

-Major improvements to creep pathing (they stay on path and don't cut corners anymore)
-Improvements in performance for Radius, Poison, Roots, Electricity, Gunpowder, Ice, Hydro, and Flesh Golem

-Ronald tweaked (see below)
-Terrain for area 4 (Purple) and 5 (Yellow) remade
-Builder now has a custom skin and voice (not so boring anymore!)
-Ronald's custom skin was improved, notice the hair, belt, and shoes

-Elemental trophy terrain visibility fixes
-Fixed misplaced pure essence trophy
-Fixed SW (Super Weapons) Life Boost/Waygate hotkey conflict
-Fixed extra investment tooltip error

-Renamed some of the dialog boxes to make the mode less ambiguous
-Buildable areas behind portals removed, accessibility to random/extreme forbidden
-Contributor builder added for MagicalHacker, cohadar, and Isin (Void)
-Added race mode message to announce first clear

**Ronald**
-Each upgrade now boosts both movespeed by 15 and hp by 15%, as opposed to just hp by 15%
-There are now only 15 levels of upgrade as opposed to 20
-New upgrade rates are: 10/20/30/50/75/100/150/200/300/400/500/750/1000/1250/1500
-Performance optimized, a lot

I never understood Ronald, it's fun that you can continue but it's not fun knowing your going to lose eventually.

    Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
