Story - My games don't need one
Victory - Test version has no victory conditions
Defeat - 120 creeps are present in the game field

Game Play:
The game is a mixture of Building Management, Circle Defense, and Click Defense. You have a 16x16 plot of land that you must manage to increase the stats of your tower. Your tower's stats directly affect your attacks and will be explained in a later section.

Firing your towers - A gesture as simple as a right click with your hero selected will order all you towers to barrage the clicked point. Each tower has it's own mana cost when fired.

Code:
Hero Stats
Strength -> Spread - Each point increase the offset of your barrage by 1 warcraft unit

Agility -> Production - Each point increases the lumber to mana effecency by 1

Intelligence -> Storage - Each point increases the mana cap for your hero by 10

The towers built will all affect these stats one way or another.

Yea, thats about it to the game.

This is not a square defense, the creeps run on an actual circle!
I will NOT provide any SCREENSHOTS mainly because i am posting a video. I believe a few hundred frames are worth more then three to six pictures.

The game is in its first test phase, meaning that its extremely unpolished! The test buildings are all currently "Farms" because I have been working on my systems...

Island bombardment was the project's name before a friend suggested that i called it emerald tower defense. Thats also why theres a huge green crystal in the middle, and as always all visually appealing content will only appear ingame not in the editor cuz im lazy with preplaceing art stuff... i make the computer make it for me ^-^

Alright I just tested your map.

Here's what I found:
  • The map title is "Just another Warcraft map"
  • The loading screen doesn't include any instructions or anything.
  • It is impossible to win on single player without cheating (I tested it on single player). I don't know if its better on multiplayer.
  • The builder can get stuck in its own buildings, therefore not allowing it to build anymore.

Here's what I suggest:
  • Making a title and actual loading screen
  • Adjust the hp of the ships to be lower on single player so that the game is testable.
  • Add some other types of ships or skills.

Overall, the game seems too short and plain. There needs to be some things added to it. The fact that it lacks a title and description makes it worse. Also, try to make it possible for single player testing. (You can add AI or adjust the hp of the ships)

EDIT: And I just noticed that it isn't possible to win the game. The ships just keep coming at a constant rate.

I was making suggestions for the actual version.

Someone else can check the triggers and stuff though, as triggers and terrain are my weaknesses :D

Ah, i missed that >.< (yea i never got enough to block my builder in <only made enough buildings to test if the system works>)

anyways, the next version ill put up here is going to be a real version (the test version was never suppost to be released, i only put it out because the youtube vid was takeing too long and i had to sleep, now im just too lazy to take the test version down)
with that said, if anyone wana give suggestions on the codeing (to make it more effecent) go ahead and say so

oh yea... for those who are just gona go "Go Use JASS" i have nothing to say, i just dont.... but im sure there are those who are gona say that so im just putting this up there

i just opened the map again to check on the issue, i did set it on fly... may you provide a replay showing that your builder got stuck?

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
