FOR one group of expectant mothers, their due date holds an extra dimension of dread. The prospect of giving birth on June 6, 6/6/06, has prompted talk of spawning devil children on Armageddon day.

A British self-help group that usually exchanges routine tips on parenting has turned its attention to the dangers of a date marked by the satanic symbol.

Yes, they are named after Greek and Roman Gods. No, that when you are born on June 6, 2006, means that you are automatically evil. Yes, I say they're idiots. No, that something so trivial for me like this should be taken seriously in my own opinion.

The only reasons 666 bicame a big deal was because of
1: big crap happened on years 666 AD and 1342 AD (1332 is 666 times 2)
2: mistranslations that match up 666 with these dates. Funny thing is that 666 times 3, 1998, though prophesiesed to be a bad date, turned out to be...wtfnothing?

And besides, this will the 20th time 6/6/06 has happened since the birth of Christ. Why worry now?

people look at the date because it has significant spiritual meaning
like friday the 13th.. it's "cursed" because we view it as so..nothing more
if you look at it this way.. compare the date with any other of the year? theres almost no difference.. cursed dates are created by mass hysteria and people who go with it.. nothing more.. the date should not be feared..
