I hate DotA and have to many reasons to even list. Lucky for you im on probation for flaming DotA I swear I would kick your ass if I could (Not in game...)

Anyway, back to the topic.

Favorite game of ALL time would have to be Dark Deeds. I once started a game that was going to be a bit like it, but I never finished. I love the suspense, the suspicion of the map. You can't trust anyone, and have to assume that you're living next to a monster... WONDERFUL! Just what the world should be like!

Anyway, my least favorite games are TDs... I'm just REALLY bad at them, so I don't like them (Before Sud gets on my case about not having liking a challenge and whatnot: Trust me. It's not that I don't like a challenge. I just REALLY suck at them. But they're still alright games to play, I don't hold anything against 'em)

Unlike our buddy Rad, I like AoS maps. They're alright if they're done right (meaning a little differently)

I remember the first AoS I ever played. You had to go down the lanes and try to capture these mining camps, to mine out blood stones. Then, you used the bloodstones to buy these gems, that you would buy from the wandering merchant. Then, you'd have to bring it back home, even though you moved SLOW as hell, and got pinged on the minimap, rofl! (If you died, you dropped the gem) For each gem you brought back, your side got an advantage. The 4th gem made your creeps spawn twice as fast, and it was a short while before you won

Anyone ever notice that a majority of people on battle.net dont have a friends list? They never talk? They never even join a channel... thats why it says they are "In lordaeron" or whatever realm. Maybe they do.. but most of the time they dont..

Apparently I'm within the minority, then. I've always had a friendslist of people I want to talk to during the games. Hell, I even get yelled at it all the time I used that /f m trick, or whatever, since it's easier then typing different names, and eventually, all our friends are in this huge private talk about how we're going to gang up on the rest of the map

*Shrug* The last few times I played Bnet was with Shadowy Fear, and we played Dark Deeds. We play as a team, so we talk a lot while we're building.

The last AoS I played was AWA, and that was with some good friends. Malice, Shadowy, Conan, Cres, etc. etc. We all talk a lot, then!

Well, I like TDs, especially mauls, but only if made well. They have a problem with being bland, though. (Needs doodads to change where towers can go)
Mazes are ok, but would be more fun with this trigger:

This probably isn't how it's achieved but you get my drift... (Won't aply to those 'don't touch the lava/water/acid/etc.' mazes, I mean labyrinths)
Sheep tag, part TD, is surprisingly moronic. Everyone changes it to fit their needs, so you never know if the sheep have the advantage or the shepherds do...
Melees, being very simple, offer little in concept, but are easy to make and fun to play.
Never played DotA.
Never played an RPG.

Simply put, most maps out there are cat puke. Occasionally, someone makes a good one and we play it, but then someone edits it and it dies.
