I know that the buff of the spell curse causes units to miss there attacks, is it possible to have this type of buff without a spell cast? I tried evasion, but I'd rather have the attacker miss occasionally, than the target dodging it. (because I have several units with out this evasion and there easy targets)

You can use a damage system and reverse the damage taken when you want a miss, then use a dummy buff in its place.

realistically, nobody would really ever miss a target if the target isn't dodging, unless you're like crosseyed or something.

you just need a damage detection system then add the hp back tp the unit. if the unit dies, don't add the hp back, making all final blows unevadable, but having something that works.

Well I want the guns to be inaccurate because there high rate of fire. The unit has 3 modes of fire (modded searing arrows), slowest is the most accurate, and the fastest is the least accurate.

Well.. actually it'd be hardly different.. People who pick up guns and go out killing never really miss unless the other person dodged.

But just add the hp that the unit lost and display floating text. Make it destroyable, set the fading age to 0, set the lifespan to 5, set the velocity to default and there ya go :p

I'd want the unit to have a chance to miss its target. The unit I want to have the miss factor is a recruit.

An easy way would be a damage detection system used to reverse damage dealt. You can set the percentage of when this might happen according to your "miss rate" and even display little red floating text above the unit that says "Miss" or something.

if your units got fixed attack power you can use critical strike with negative values. lets say your rifleman deals 30 points of damage you can make critical strike with 25% chance to proc, damage multiplier of 0.00 and bonus damage of -30.0.
this would not show a floating text.
however if the damage of your units is random either go the way with a damage detection system (i advice you to use Weeps GDD) or with creating a dummy unit to cast curse on the targets.

    Looks like Google fixed whatever mistake that made the recipes on the site go crazy and we are no longer trending towards a recipe site lol - I don't care though because it motivated me to spend alot of time on the site improving it and at least now the content people are looking at is not stupid and embarrassing like it was when I first got back into this like 5 years ago.

    Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.
