Since Blizzard fucked up Jass programming with the latest patch, the map doesn't work anymore.
Maybe I will fix that ... dunno. SC2 has been delayed. Think I will reconsider continueing the project once I finish my latest KOTOR playthrough.

So basicly; THE PROJECT IS ALIVE AGAIN. k?

Sadly, I have heard nothing of my former mapping mate until now. :/
He was always the one that wanted me to continue, but now ... dunno.

I can not continue the project without him doing the terraining stuff. It just wouldn't be the same ...
Also, I have problems converting the map to 2.4 compatibility - I used elseif quite often - ... it gives me the creeps when I think about it. Fuck blizzard for that change.

If you want I can convert this map to work under 1.24 for you. Seems like the community really likes your map, I wouldn't want to see it go away due to Blizzard's patch.

Since I heard of my mapping mate now (he was on vacation for 5 weeks), we will continue mapping at tuesday. Sadly, I can not fix the map before tuesday, since I don't have an actual version of it.

However, I hope you can expect a fixed version at around wednesday or thursday, with more content to come after a week.

also you should upload your ORPG here http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/maps.php the Hiveworkshop members are always helpfull in making a good map :D also many wc3 daily search for new aps on this ste so your map will surely become very public :D

At the moment, I am still rewriting the threat system; however, I am pretty far.
It can't take much longer.

But I can tell you; it's worth the additional waiting time:
The new threat system will be amazing. It's 100% bug free, does even detect units that aren't actually killed (but removed, which is always a hard thing to do), stores the unit's camp groups, so that not all units return at once if one unit returns (only the camp does), etc.

Give us little more time. I hope I will be done by tuesday or something. Depends on how much time I have monday.

teh.fellow is also hard working on the terrain. If I am done rewriting all the code and making it 1.24b functional, we will release a new version. I think shortly after this, two new classes will be introduced.

Yes, though there will be many improvements on the gameplay. Since 1.24 forced me to, I completely rewrote the quest system today. The threat system is also done.

ok i will play your new old map again but when will you release new content? i saw the map and there was MAAAAAAANY space for new terrain :D

    Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
