YAh i had the same message but i need to burn the files at my laptop before i install it to my computer and the first message i get from installing is "E:\Movies\Tutorialln.mpq
Error 0x000003EE: The volume for a file has been externally altered so that the opened file is no longer valid.
(FileUtil.coo:816)

plz tell me what i had done wrong with the installation

Help!

I have a different problem. When I run my map made in world editor, i click start and in the middle of loading it shows me a war3.mpq error and i dont wanna lose my map (i worked on it 2 weeks).If some1 know how to solve the problem plz post it.

Warcraft 3 won't install!

I don't get what went wrong with the installation... :confused:
It worked on the other computer, why not this one???

I've been trying to install for hours, but it still doesn't work! What is wrong?!?

It keeps saying there is an Error! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

kudos to the guy who said take the cd out before retry. i did that and the install went off without a hitch. thanks.

I am having a different problem with my warcraft III...
I instal it and it works perfectly fune no probs... but when i try to go online with it, it updates and after that askes to restart so i hit ok and then i try to sart it up again and it says

"Warcraft III was unable to find War3.exe.
Please make sure your game is correctly installed, and that your Warcraft III disc is in your CD-ROM drive, and try again."

I'v tryed over 15 times now reinstalling and it wont work i even checked and the file's there... plz help:banghead::banghead::banghead:

Plz help!

I have a problem with the instasion of warcraft 3. Where can i find my hard drive, because i should copy all the things on the warcraft 3 cd, and then take it into my hard drive, bu t i can find it.. plz help!:)

Answer to problem

Hi

I have had the same problem.

The solution is to remove EVERYTHING warcraft if you have installed perviously and empty the recycle bin. This includes all of your replays saves etc. (put them on a USB stick then remove it if you want to keep them)

There is something built into the software that recognises any previous installs and when it does a redundancy check on the new files at this point it picks up on previously installed hidden files on the system registry.

The simplest thing is to simply delete the WC111 install folder after using the uninstall wizard.

Should fix your problem.

    Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
