Nice and quite useful for beginners.
I suggest you have Disagree first in the dialog one, because I've pressed enter to type a message just as a dialog box appeared countless times. And if i don't want the player to be kicked, I could accidently kick him.

You should also make a trigger which stops the same player being voted to be kicked after they've been voted (for some time)(if they're still in the game).
So an idiot can't just keep spamming -kick yellow or whatever

This is a system actually, not a tutorial. :p

Why are there 2 posts also?

This is a tutorial for making a system :p
I don't if this is 'legal', but I used my bump post to edit it into part two. :D

EDIT:
Okay, fixed it.

Choose a version and stick to it. The World-editor-tutorial site doesn't support more than 1 post. :)

> This is a tutorial for making a system

Then it is a system. :)

Okay, so it is a half-system half-tutorial, so what?

I think I'll just stick to it as a system, but I found another votekick system, so my mind is confused and I don't know what should it be made into.

So I should delete one post and change it to 'bump'?

Choose one.

I'll take care of the rest. :)

> Okay, so it is a half-system half-tutorial, so what?

Change it into a system, simply. Remove the "tutorial" part of the post, that is where you explain everything. A system only needs a good description.

Ouch... I spent over an hour doing one part... I can agree to deleting one post, but why not just leave it as a tutorial, since there's already a kicking vote system?

Then, add an example map at the end of your system in action.

It will stay as a tutorial, but only because it is well explained and there is already another one, and also because there are 2 parts.

I'll play around with your posts too, so... don't be surprised. :)

Thanks for merging the post, so now all I have to do is to upload a demonstration map?

Okay I'll do it by today, only thing I need is:

this is a VoteKick, so how do I make a map?.

What would be funny would be like a map with players which randomly choose if the player you votekick is going to stay in. Like in a real game, really.
Anyway, that's just me...

Hmm. It is clearly hard to make a map with this kind of system.

Understood. :)

Approved.

Ahh, thanks Daxtreme, but anyway I have uploaded the demonstration map too.

I made a cinematic, to preview to users what VoteKick Systems really look like, so they can get the feeling and can decide whether they want to import the triggers into the map.

Err.. I know the cinematics are a little bit boring, but just bare with it, because there isn't any sound to it except the Warcraft default music.. LoL.

Check the first post!

EDIT: Uh.. There's something wrong with the map..

You can change this now in User CP.

My mistake here. Lemme fix it ;)

If Observers on Defeat is enabled, will the kicked player still be allowed to observe? If so, can this be prevented by using the Set Map Flag action?

Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though
  • Varine Varine:
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
  • Varine Varine:
Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm
  • Varine Varine:
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
  • Varine Varine:
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
  • Varine Varine:
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
  • Varine Varine:
Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
