Im still having troubles and need help! Please

Ok now that i have ran some more tests i have found out that when you alter traits for some reason it will take away all of its possible options. By options i mean when u click on it it doesnt show anything like attack, stop or any other building traits that should be there. What did i change to make the unit not be able to do any of this.
