Magina vs Strygwyr - ON HOLD

In development.​
PROGRESS: NEARLY DONE​
A Sentinel Archer Patrol is suddenly attacked by Strygwyr the Bloodseeker. The Archer Patrol is dead within seconds. But with them was Magina the Anti-mage, so..... FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT :D

NOTE: The ending is when they both stop and do nothing, ALT + F4 or ESC to leave. I need to finish it.

~ For the sake of a smaller map size, I removed the loading screen for now.
~ Requires v1.24.
~ My 2.07 MB map exceeds forum's upload limit zzz...

Was fast-paced and rather cool. Could BS at least kill all the archers? They are standing there like stupid obstacle things xD

But BS should have killed them at the start instead of leaving them there to... He's going to bathe in their blood later right 0_o

Great, another cinematic, :thup:
Can't wait for when this is finished!
Maybe you could make a huge DotA "game" going on, like a fight. Or at least like 5v5 of the heroes with some creeps now and then, like a real battlefield in the DotA world.

Well, UPDATE SOON! The beginning is more smoother, Archers actually die this time. And if you played it in the replay at 1/2 speed, you notice they die before they get hit.

EDIT: Pretty sick. A bit choppy but I guess that's the model limits, lol.
The terrain was nice, and the effects like wind fit well, too.
Nice ideas, I loved the Thirst Blood Eyes thing.
Music didn't match the fighting in my opinion. Maybe the first 10 seconds of the song, :p but the rest seemed too... happy fighting. And there was too much blood to be happy, ^.^
I know it's not over yet, but it seems to me like Magina is getting owned, haha.
Won't say more yet since it's not done, but great job! :thup:

Well, that was pretty neat. :thup: But as thewrongvine said, the music didn't really fit at all, kinda made it feel like a picnic in the woods, even though it was a very bloody picnic. ^_^

Yes, Magina is prety much getting killed, yet never dying o_O

1. That uppercut move.
2. That another slash into air move.
3. That blood line move.
4. Anothe slash after that.
5. He misses his "Mana Void".
6. He fails to Blink from a lot of stuff.

Still looking great! The archers die from 1 attack! GO BS!
I, too, really like the "blood radar" thing, it looks totally cool :D

However, the jumping actions for AM seem somewhat unnatural. Perhaps he could play some form of animation (no idea what) when he jumps, but I doubt he has any appropriate ones.

When he jumps, he still plays his normal stand animations. It doesn't look really natural 0_o

Good point. I'll try find a better animation, or make it look more natural.

Those lines do fade out when BS becomes weaker, also, they were there so you could see where he was at the time, I also made trees transparent so you could see through too where he was.

I recall styg had an animation where he lifts up his hands. Using that on take off might look nicier? Would be cool too if one of them did a spin/rotate attack; jumping, spinning and strike with the power of speed behind the blow.

Question: Am I allowed to use music from movies? Can I get in trouble for using music from stuff like that?

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
