McAfee gets stuck scanning a particular file.

For some reason, whenever I start a virus scan with McAfee, it gets stuck on one particular file (and that's around the 100th file to be scanned). At first, I deleted the file, then emptied it from the Recycle Bin, but it's still finding it.

The file I downloaded was a HL2 mod (in a RAR archive), but I never installed it.

McAfee finds it here:
C:\$Recycle.Bin\S-1-5-21-...2389673-1001\$R8XL0HL.rar

I've tried getting into C:\$Recycle.Bin, but I can't seem to get at it. Any ideas on how I can remove this file so I can do a full virus scan?

EDIT: Oh ye, the Skip button in the virus scan window -DOES NOT- work for this particular file, but it works fine before that...

McAfee automatically started a scan, and I'm stuck after 105 files, on the same file. Only option I have found to work is leaving out archived files, but for all I know, there could be something nasty lurking in some of those :\

well since it is a rar file it cannot execute on it's own .

problems "may" arise when you open the rar file

Any suggestions on what I can do? Should I get a second anti-virus just so I can protect myself against my own curiosity (ooooh, zip archives ), or should McAfee deal with anything that 'pops out' of a zip/rar file when it does 'pop out'

Just open them with sandboxie, you cant get any viruses if you open a program or file using sandboxie (google it).
