ok so, im trying to get a ranged unit to do splash damage and i used orb of fire because apparently this is the only thing that does it for ranged units. i have two abilities because orb of fire doesnt show as an ability so i made a dummy one for the icon then added orb of fire through triggers. here's the trigger:
now there is still no splash damage when the unit attacks. ive set the damage bonus on orb of fire to 0 and ive heard that orb of fire only splashes the bonus damage, which would explain the problem and be a problem in itself. if this is the problem then is there another way to give an ABILITY that makes ranged units have splash damage? if its something with the trigger can someone let me know?
