postid post thread threadid how to use them?

hi guys <3

i just realize that theHelper.net have already removed the
anchor and goto tags, and my huge tutorial is all messed up

i realised that theHelper.net has replaced it with postid post thread threadid
i went into the tag section i checked it out but i still don't understand how to
use them

what is the difference between thread and post?
i know how to use the postid and threadid because it allows user to
replace the number with the words

but i still can't figure out how to make the person clicks on the link
and go to the specific line/paragraph within a post (which is within the same
page thread)

I'd just be patient with the goto anchor tags if I were you, phyrex1an said he would modify them so that linking to other posts would be impossible and he's probably doing so now.

It wasn't me who removed the tags, so I suppose that there is someone else working on that. Or someone else just desidet that the anchor tag should be removed forever. Anyway I don't know why there where removed but I suppose there was a good reason to remove them.

Because of the nature of the anchors. If someone posts a post on the same page with an anchor with the same name as an previus anchor that anchor will stop to function. If I limit the anchor to work inside one post only you will only be able to break your own anchors.
If you want to link to other posts use the [post] tag.

post leads you to the "post" but doesn't leads you within the specific paragraph of the post right?

The point is that someone else can break your anchors, it mustn't be the same person.

A thread is what contains the post, a post is the comment.
