Questions I need help.

Hi, I am new here, I am making a map and I keep running into road blocks, I've already gotten help from somebody here with my trigger, now every time I make the spawn trigger(below is the trigger, then the message that comes up when I try to load the map in editor)
research
e: unit finishes research
c: researched tech type equal to....
a: turn on spawn trigger (you turn it off before)
spawn trigger
e: every 15 seconds of game time
c:
a: spawn footman
and save and close world editor it to go do something else it comes up with this message when I come back from what I was doing when I try to load the map.
Unable to load file 'C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Maps\Download\Race Wars With Triggers.w3x'
- Trigger data missing or invalid.
Why does the trigger corrupt the file?:banghead::banghead::banghead:

Neither of those triggers should mess anything up..

Did you download a map and try to add your own triggers to it? -In that case the map might be protected, and will prevent you from changing anything.

If you made the map by yourself (from scratch) I suggest you upload the map and let us have a look at it.

hmm yes I agree. Although I've never seen a protected map that lets you open it but not change it.

I made the map from scratch, everytime I make the trigger, it just corrupts the map file. How do I upload the map?

When writing a post, scroll down a bit and click 'Manage Attachments'. -Then you can upload your map.

I found an UFO (Unidentified File Object) in your imported files.
You've imported a file called 'war3map.wtg'. I have no idea what that is.
I removed it, saved the map, added a trigger, saved the map, closed the map, and then opened it again. -No error this time.

So I'm pretty sure that file is corrupting your map.
Try removing it, add your triggers again, and see if that helps.
