Have you ever been in the making of an RPG with the classical feel when in order to access some secret area first you must find a very well hidden key?
Neither have I. After making some items for a project, I searched my 'archives' to see if there was anything worth submitting. I found this. BOOYA!

9 "keys", all with disabled buttons. Altogether 56kb. Pretty low for an RPG. well here are the icons:

First note: I won't show the disabled buttons.

Second note: the icons I will post here so you can see the actual icon, aren't a perfect 64x64, because I was too... tired to crop them correctly. I assure you, that the real icons (the ones in the .zip) are a perfect 64x64

No credit is needed, but do not claim as your own!

Did you make those yourself?

Also, could you clean up the first post, make it look nicer, and fix up the spelling and grammar.

And, why didn't you upload to the site? o_O

'Keys' doesn't really seem like a suitable name for these icons either. :p

Not entierly mine. I started by taiking screenshots from the game, then editing them with Gimp, maiking shades, playing a bit with the colors and forms and I was done. So, saying that I made them entierly is a bit too much. More like I "re-made" or "edited" them. I have done more work then recolor, but less work then maiking it from scratch.

>Also, could you clean up the first post, make it look nicer, and fix up the spelling and grammar.

Right away.

>And, why didn't you upload to the site? o_O

Trust me. You don't want to know.

>'Keys' doesn't really seem like a suitable name for these icons either.

I know. Any ideas :p

Well, I actually asked with the intention of finding out. So yes, I do want to know.

A 1:The file wloudn't upload
A 2: I wanted an easy compy/paste teamplate if I want to post this somewhere else
A 3: I don't have enough size
A 4: Aren't we a bit wanna-know all :D:D ( just kidding)

>Hm... Not really "keys", but nice none-the-less.

Thanks.

>Blurry, lacks lightning.

It is supposed to be a life-less emblem... rusty and possibly shattared in to pieces.

>As another comment: pretty cool.

Thanks =]

'Blurry' and 'lightning' has nothing to do with that.

Did you remember to click "Upload"?

> A 2: I wanted an easy compy/paste teamplate if I want to post this somewhere else
Just upload it to other sites too then. Regardless, you should upload it to the thread.

> A 3: I don't have enough size
...For a "Alltogether 56kb" file? (And it should be compressed anyway)

It said some crap about "invalid file format...." somehow I got the idea that i can't upload .rar files and desided to go cheap ( because I really wanted to submit it today)

Edit: fixed and uploaded.

And was it really that difficult to crop the icons properly? The previews look messy.

Well, pretty darn nice. Although you are not 100% the creator of the icons, they still look good and are perfect for RPG's. Nice one, but next time try to make them free-hand, ok ?

Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

You can get there if you click the bell icon (alerts) and choose preferences from the bottom, signature will be in the menu on the left there https://www.thehelper.net/account/preferences

Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though
  • Varine Varine:
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
  • Varine Varine:
Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm
  • Varine Varine:
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
  • Varine Varine:
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
  • Varine Varine:
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
  • Varine Varine:
Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
