RPG Ideas to get started

alright i will describe what ive come up with so far and i want you guys to throw in ideas of what you think might be fun and go well. keep it relevant to the type of RPG this is.

Start off in a somewhat small town/semi burned down area. the players get a couple side quest to do to get familiar with the game and whats it about. They start out as simple Peasant and eventually work there way up to powerful heros. At points in the map they might join in battles and get control over small bases to combat the enemies. At one point or another they might enter a giagantic town where it takes a temporary style of life of a peasant for some basic fun and hanging around. that town would probably be a place of a siege in which they would have to defend. maybe after that they have 1 last thing to do for the map. This rpg is somewhat difficult but doable always on the second or third tries. possibly the story line has a way to carry off into a second map. Maybe this map story is partially built off where warcraft III TFT ended off with the rise of the lich king and the new up and coming loardaeron, yet maintaining some side action/quest.

Any Ideas or thoughts.

Maby hav them start in a normal town wher they just wall around and stuff then they find shelter wil its being attacked and then after it they go back for survivors but no one lived
