Some of my programs have like, "Memory losses"

From time to time, my firefox and my WC3Banlist kind of half-uninstall. They lose all their settings and the first run stuff appears. In firefox, the home page returns to default, so does the theme and other plugins. In WC3Banlist, I lose all my phrases and bans. This time I didn't lose my bans somehow. Also if it can help all my files are still there, it says it's unable to find it..

I'm pretty sure it's a problem with registry, but I don't know how to fix it. Anybody has an idea?

It happened twice as of now. I doubt it'll stop without doing anything .

I have Windows Vista if that helps. Feel free to ask anything else about my computer if it helps :S.

Looks like you cleared your cache or your temporary program files. Did you run a program like CCleaner, a registry/file cleaner sometime, which deletes "unecessary" files? That might be the problem. Or else some other program might have deleted those files.

I have TuneUp Utilities 2008. Could that be it?

Possibly, I'd check its settings.
