Here's TESH for newgen including all these new natives and the hashtable keyword.

Though, the new functions don't work with auto-complete.

I installed it. And the "[" thing still happens. It's probably because I have a different keyboard setup (Hungarian).
But how can I change it?
To make "[" I need to press Alt Gr + F on my keyboard.

You could try to use the colon-operator:
Instead of
JASS:
local unit array u
local integer i = 0
loop
    exitwhen i == 16
        set u<i> = CreateUnit(...)
...</i>

Do
JASS:
local unit array u
local integer i = 0
loop
    exitwhen i == 16
        set i:u = CreateUnit(...)

I don't know if it would work in structs and the array size declaration there however.

I think you might have missed some. For example, it doesn't highlight GetHandleId() for me or SaveInteger(), LoadInteger().

I'll update with more that I find or if anyone else cares to post.

I'm using Tesh version 0.4.0.0 because all the newer versions perform a lot slower on my computer.

Is there any way I can make it highlight all the new functions with this version?

I've attached the standalone Tesh I'm using.

My Question is, how did you add the auto-complete feature for the new natives.
When i used a modified funclist.db with just the new natives in it i still got auto-complete for the old natives.

I was wondering, how are you guys editing the .dll's and .db's?

Also, is the newest TESH's going to be added to first post?

After hours of trying new things this is what I did

I edited the funclist.db with an SQL manager, and had to import each new native (boring).

Then I had to get a resource hacker and edit the tesh.dll adding in everything else.

And I'm still not done/

Wow, whenever I tried resource hacker, it was boring and you couldn't change a thing, except in visual styles and stuff...

How to find auto complete with ressource hacker:
"RC Data" > "TFORMTESH_MAIN" > "SciAutoComplete" > "AStrings.Strings"

There you go

I wanted to try editing it, too. x)

  • Added globals from common.j and blizzard.j to autocompletion (so e.g. EVENT_ pops up an autocompletion window thing with e.g. EVENT_PLAYER_UNIT_DEATH and bj_ one with e.g. bj_lastCreatedHashtable in it). IIRC someone asked for this quite a while ago. Can't find the post anymore, though. And I find this pretty handy. <3
  • Removed some natives that were highlighted but apparently weren't in common.j (e.g. GetSelectedUnit and InitHandleTable).
  • Made it highlight all of the natives/globals/BJs added in 1.23b.
  • Added all of the added natives/BJs to the function list.
  • Updated some BJs in the function list and autocompletion.
  • Added the new constants to the constants list.

Artificial, does this also do the delimited comments? I'm going with the route of not installing your new TESH until the patch is released, so that I don't get mixed up using functions that don't exist yet.

No.

GetHandleId, StringHash, and every function that uses a hashtable.
Not hard to remember, is it?

Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though
  • Varine Varine:
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
  • Varine Varine:
Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm
  • Varine Varine:
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
  • Varine Varine:
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
  • Varine Varine:
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
  • Varine Varine:
Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
  • Ghan Ghan:
Heard Houston got hit pretty bad by storms last night. Hope all is well with TH.
