Aah. "Legendary" items. You got me confused. Legendary items are sold by the Beast Master; he is the Level 3 shop. He does indeed sell recipes. The ingredients are sold by the Tier 2 shop (Arthas) located just outside town, north on the Yin side, and south on the Yang side.

No, But there is a way WC3 makes theirs. You go down to the pixels, make the shape and solid color fill it, then airbrush white and black to shade it. No smudge or it'll look 'off'.
