Warwick is another unique hero, which has a lot of life stealing abilities, 1 ability that scales off Ability Power and one that scales off of Attack Power. Most people play Warwick as a physical champion, some play as an AP/AS hybrid champion, but I personally play him as an unkillable tank that generally is targeted by everyone because of his usual damage-oriented builds. The following build was used in the LoL championship.

- Hungering Thirst [Passive (Defensive)] - Every attack Warwick lands he gorges in his enemy's blood, healing him for a stacking ~8/12/16/20 per hit, this stacks 3 times maxing at ~24/36/48/60 health per hit. Because of this high attack speed items are generally great utility for warwick.
- Hungering Strike [Offensive (Targeted Low Range)] - Warwick takes a bite out of his target, dealing 75/125/175/225/275 (+1.0) plus 8/10/12/14/16% of the targets maximum health, healing Warwick for 80% of the damage dealt.
- Hunters Call [Offensive/Utility (Instant Cast Radius)] - Warwick howls out increasing the attack speed of him and his nearby allies. Allies are buffed for 20/25/30/35/40% and he is buffed for 40/50/60/70/80% attack speed for the next 10 seconds. This works great in conjunction with Hungering Thirst
- Blood Thirst [Learned Passive (Utility with Large Radius)] - Warwick can sense the blood of others, when any enemies within the range are below 50% health, the team is granted sight of them and Warwick gains 20/25/30/35/40% movement speed. Has a range of 1500/2300/3100/3900/4700 units.
- Infinite Duress [Offensive (Targeted Long Range Suppress)] - Warwick leaps at his target suppressing them for 1.8 seconds, dealing 250/335/420 magic damage, triggering on-hit effects 5 times and adding 30% life steal to Warwick. This ability is great for initiating team fights as a tank, however it can be stopped via a stun/push/pull/etc, so it is good to get Banshee's Veil with warwick.

- Cloth Armor, 1 basic ward, health potions - The basic ward helps guard you so you will not get ganked at blue unawares. The cloth armor will be used soon after.
- Mercury Treads - Bonus magic resist and reduced debuf time, allowing you to maximize your use of Blood Thirst.
- Frozen Heart - This is a great Warwick starter item, it gives him the cool down reduction needed to maximize healing from his Hungering Strike, and giving him 99 armor for tower diving plus 20% attack speed reduction to enemy champions nearby. In addition Warwick will now have the mana to abuse his abilities.
- Spirit Visage - This item provides bonus health and cool down reduction, nearing you to 40%, and adds increased healing and regeneration, which is huge for almost all of warwicks abilities. In addition, this adds more magic resistance, which is great for warwick.
- Madred's Blood Razor - This item is perfect for any attack speed oriented champion, dealing a % of the opponent's maximum health per hit. It also applies attack speed, armor, and damage, which increase warwick's tankiness and amount of life steal from his passive.
- Banshee's Veil - This provides the bonus health and magic resistance that Warwick will need at this point, as well as the spell blocker, which is a must have for his ultimate.
- Guardian Angel - This has the perfect balance of armor and magic resistance at this point, in addition the resurrection is great for team fights, as you will generally be burned down first.
