Unless they are planning to give us new faction only classes, i say this is a a bad and very bold move...

as we draw closer to the release of World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, more of the secrets shrouding the draenei and blood elves are being revealed. In the upcoming expansion, you will finally be able to play classes that were previously unavailable to your faction: the blood elves have harnessed the power of the Light for their own needs, supporting the Horde with renegade blood elf paladins. Meanwhile, the draenei have been granted the wisdom and strength of the elements, and some among the newest members of the Alliance now follow the path of the shaman.

Blizzard said they won't be the same. Blood Elves have twisted the paladin class, so it's a bit "darker". And the Draenor have brought holy influences into the shaman class, make it a bit "lighter".

it says right on the WoW main site if you look around, that dranei will be paladins,mostly because they have screenshots of them, im assuming that blood elves could be shamens then, but not vice versa :nuts:

Unless you are very strict with the Lore, it doesn't really matter.

Shaman's still suck end game.

Even though there may be twists to the classes, you DO know that Draenei can be both Paladins AND Shamans, right? That should make an interesting race.

But the horde having blessings and alliance having totems. This'll bring some new mechanics into the game.

And no, blood elfs will NOT be able to be Shamans. But Draenei can be both.

It's balanced with the other races. THis gives both factions the ability to be 3 shamans and 3 paladins. Currently, Orc, Troll, and Tauren can be shamans on the Horde, and Humans and Dwarves can be Paladins.

And blizzard hasn't even announced the new classes yet, it should balance itself out in the end, I still won't group with a horde pally though, ever.
