I restarted again and still no dice. However I found Norton was running in the background (~sigh~) and uninstalled all Norton applications, restarted, redownloaded NewGen, and it's working now.
Have some questions about this new gen. I did not installed the new gen like it seys in here, just copied WC3 folder extracted from rar and opened Newgen editor. Edited my map saved and relockated it in my old WC3 folder where is no Newgen extracted, but game works fine. Tried to start map but it does not opened. If i do all what seys in this trade about installation. Will the map be able to run in usual Warcraft 3 frosen trone?
and one thing. I got 1.26a of Warcraft 3. My newgen can open my map with no problems and can save it with no problem, but Warcraft 3 cant start the map when im lanching game and trying to start it as a costome game or lan game.
You don't need to 'install' newgen. Just extract it to some folder and run it from there. I have no idea what you did when you 'installed' it.
Can you test the map from the newgen editor? Have you saved the map before directly before testing it? What happens when you try to open the map in Wc3?
I just extracted the Newgen zip in my seccond warcraft 3 folder (my wc3 is 1.26a) Opened my map with newgen, did some triger changes (created a trigger with unit takes damage) saved my map as new one and tryed to open it with my first warcraft3 frosen trone that does not have newgen, becose i cant test it with Newgen some problem apeares when i hit test button. When im trying to creat the map as a lan game, when i dubleclick on map in map list it just returnes to the lan server list page.
There's just one thing that annoys me and I couldnt find any answer with google search about it: since I installed JNGP, whenever I test a custom map in WE, the Interface "theme" is always Undead, with skulls everywhere and an undead hand cursor & voice...even though my Player1 is Orc.
See I'm making a Tauren map and it really doesn't fit.
I sometimes do play Undead but just not this time.
Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.
@tom_mai78101 I must be blind. If I go on my profile I don't see any area to edit the signature; If I go to account details (settings) I don't see any signature area either.
You can get there if you click the bell icon (alerts) and choose preferences from the bottom, signature will be in the menu on the left there https://www.thehelper.net/account/preferences
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
