lol that tutorial is way to complex for me to understand, i wouldnt be able to tell the numbers apart from the item/ hero/ and everything else that is being saved...

That tutorial saves almost everything, i dont need all that hero/ item crap. i just need to save an integer/ number!

Hi guys. ive been looking around EVERYWHERE for a very basic save/load system which just saves an integer (a number). thats all i need. every tutorial i have found only saves numbers up to 9 or 99 and such. i need the number limit to be unlimited. Can anybody please direct me to a tutorial...

hello all. I need someone to throughly explain "Substrings" for me. I dont have a clue what they do and i dont understand the whole "Substring(String,1,5). What is the 1,5 anyway? lol anyway please help me :) thanks in advance.

I have just found an anti-cheat system which i have implemented into my map and it works perfectly. Thanks to all of you for your suggestions and such and for trying to help. thread closed. :)

Im also a perfectionist when it comes to map making, so i dont want really want anything that would be stupid.

Ok ill explain it in more detail now. i have a save/ load system on my map. now when ever you kill a creature, explore a unique area you gain a experience point. its suppose to be hard to gain experiece points (which it is). now this is all very good on a multiplayer map where cheats are...

And what if the player is smart and does: Greedisgood 500, and not 10000!

ive tryed doing that, still doesnt register as a text message being sent.

i tryed swapping it with a timer and it still doesnt work :(

i tryed what you told me to try and it didnt work also typing in "whosyourdaddy" doesnt get registered as a text message being sent.

Ive also seen it in multiple games, just cant figure out how to do it. lol

that doesnt work, because when a player types a cheatcode it comes up as "Cheat Enabled" instead of the actual text so the trigger doesnt recognize it.
