Hi, i thought i should let you know how the story ended :)
Went back to the shop and exchanged my [LG Electronics 320GB 70 euro's] for a [Fujitsu Siemens 1000GB 75 euro's] and so far not a single hitch :D
It's a bit bigger and has it's own power supply, but appears to be more reliable, thanks...
Thanks for your help, i had already tried to contact the manufacturers, but there site is clearly designed to be unhelpfull, even with software updates, although i get the impression there isn't any for this device.
I did as you said, unistalled it, plugged it back in and it installed again...

I brought an External HDD (LG Electronics, 320GB) before 3-4 days, plugged it in and it worked, it also worked on my laptop, 2 days later it stopped working on the computer (stationary) ...

Sry about the delay in reply time, i have been v busy over the last 10 days :eek: ok, i put dxdiag in the run command box and noticed only 1 thing that was clearly wrong, here's what it says:

Hitman (causes slowing, removed it)
Just did ComboFix and got system restore working :P

Must be a different problem, if you can play through world editor by clicking a map, i just get the same error, well bit different but relatively the same.:)
