Incredibly simple spell. You could've added extra special effects when the bolts die, which then would damage nearby enemy units. I also suggest that you change the buff of Shadow Strike to something ''darker''.
However, it is a good spell to a hero, so +rep :thup:
Well, you can't detect if an unit has been damaged by Shockwave (because Unit takes damage cannot detect if the damage was physical or magical), UNLESS...you trigger this shockwave. A triggered shockwave that leaves buff on affected units.
You could also use triggers:

Time - Every 0.5 seconds of game time
Conditions
Actions
Unit - Set mana of (YourUnitVar) to ((Mana of (YourUnitVar)) - 1.00)
And then check: If the unit has 0 mana, change height to 0.
