How do I make a spell, similar to Nerubian Weaver's Geminate Attack for those who play DotA, that launches a second attack (or more if possible) after attacking for the first time.
Another example is the crypt that explodes corpses in YouTD, it also has a double/tripple/more attack chance...
I've made a spell based off channel for one of my triggers.
I've ensured that Art Duration and Follow Through Time is set to 0.00, as well as Cast Time, I've removed all Animations Names and it's aimed at only Point Targets, however I'm still able to cancel my order even after I've started...
It depends on what your spell is.
Someone mentioned that the first one has a problem with it, but otherwise that would be suitable for spells with travel time.
The second one is not suitable for spells with travel time. If you used that then your hero would cast the firebolt and the target...
Okay well the top one triggers once a unit casts a spell called Firebolt.
It then sets a variable called Firebolt_Damage to the casters Intelligence x 4, which will be used in the future.
Since the Firebolt has to travel to and hit the unit before doing damage, this effect must be replicated...
Rotten was right when he said there was a way to do it without setting a variable:
Replace02
Events
Unit - A unit Dies
Conditions
(Unit-type of (Triggering unit)) Equal to Footman
Actions
Unit - Replace (Triggering unit) with a Knight using The new...
Random01
Events
Unit - A unit Starts the effect of an ability
Conditions
(Ability being cast) Equal to Animate Dead
Actions
Set INTEGER = (Random integer number between 1 and 3)
If (All Conditions are True) then do (Then Actions) else do (Else...
Disable
Events
Unit - A unit Is attacked
Conditions
((Attacking unit) belongs to an ally of (Owner of (Triggering unit))) Equal to True
Actions
Unit - Order (Attacking unit) to Stop
That's what I've got.
If there's something I'm missing or a loop...
I think the problem is that the string is too long, and it cuts off during the colour code for that last bit.
Try removing the colour from the first word: Learn, giving you more available character slots to colour the last word(s).
And you've got
showing twice. That's a massive waste of...
They work with regions.
Although you may think they teleport you from one Waygate to another, they don't. They teleport you from the waygate, to a region.
If you want it to teleport to another waygate, simply place a region and put a waygate on top of it.
To set where you want it to...
Haha can't blame you it's a pretty daunting list. Something of that size is bound to confuse people. Hit me with as many questions as you want, I'll be glad to answer them. Just excuse some possible delays on relpies =(
Yes they will overlap, and it'll look weird =P
You can fix this by having 3 different point variables, and using a different one for each.
And don't forget to clear the information in those point variables with the custom script. If you need help with that just let me know.
