does anyone know how what actor is linked to going from siege mode back to tank mode?
ive found the reverse of that, but now i cant seem to locate that one.
also, im having a problem with the actor that displays the range of a seige mode tank. i can get it to display on my tank units, but...
what youve described there is what i am doing.
i was just hoping there was a way to use the same weapon over 3 units, and somehow have the dmg change depending on the unit that used the weapon. as it would save me a lot of time and effort.
but if i do that, characters dont go through attack animations.
for example the helion, his weapon effect is hellion (persistant). which means i have to duplicate that effect, then the dmg effect, then any actors connected to the persistant effect, otherwise the attack effects seem to not work
what you said there is essietnially what im doing already. all im doing is duplicating to save time, and keep all the actors i need linked to the copy, so i dont have to look them up.
my only real problem comes from the dmg usually, when i duplicate the dmg and dmg related effects and rename...
is there a quicker way to create units besides duplicating everything?
what im doing is creating lvl 1,2,3 units.
for example lets use the marine.
i have to duplicate the marine twice, then duplicate their weapons, then duplicate the weapon effect dmg.
and thats the simple units...
yea thats exactly the problem i had. basically what happened is:
1. i created skills to launch nukes x,y,z.
2. i created nuke x,y,z
3. i made skills so that the ghost acadamy could train nuke x,y,z
4. i created requirements to restrict skills x,y,z to thier respective nukes

found one field i had to edit in my origional skill for launching level x nukes. called calldown effect for anyone who finds this post in the future, just link it to your level x calldown
