bnet problem

When I used to play starcraft on bnet I had a regular dial up modem. I recently upgraded to dsl and haven't been able to get on bnet. I've been getting the message "if you are not configured to dial up networking oyu may have to initiate the connection manually" anyone know what to do?

What game are you trying to play?

Do you have some kind of router or firewall installed for your DSL?

It sounds like one or more of the ports that the game needs to play on Battle.net is blocked. If you answer the above questions we can tell you what those ports are and maybe help get you online.
