[Diablo2Exp] can't pick up items while pressing the ALT key

I've got a big problem.

I can not pick up any items using the

ALT key + left mouse button(spell is set to

default attack)

the only way i can do it is to use the right

mouse button(which must be set for default

attack technique) instead of the left one.


this is why I always miss those valuable

items on the ground cause I'm not fast

enough to change the spell set for my right

mouse button to default attack technique.

can anyone tell me what's wrong?

I'm using W2k and MS wheel mouse...

and I used to pickup items with the

left mouse button when i played the original

on my computer.

That is an odd one. It seems if your mouse buttons were backwards in the game, then they would be backwards everywhere else. The only idea I have - and you probably already did this - is to look at your mouse controls in the Control Panel, and see if there is anything strange there. If not, I would try reinstalling the mouse drivers and see if that helps at all.

After I posted my question about the ALT key

thingy I found out that another application

was causing this bug. Well it's not actually

a bug. This program catches the ALT key press

from all other windows or applications.

So if you have a similar problems try to

close or quit application which might involve

such Key capture.
