I cant name spells i just go back to what it was

I try creating my own custom spells for example i create Bash and i want to call it Heavy Hit or something like that and it just turns back its normal name Bash.

Are you changing the name of the spell, or are you changing the tooltip? The tooltip is what actually shows up in-game.
