The Culling - Human Campaign

In the RoC game, the 6th mission, The Culling, is there something I'm missing? I have to destroy 100 villagers, and the Bradley guide that came with the Battlechest version of the game says to destroy houses. I have my troops, including mortar teams, and when I right click on a house to destroy it, they all just stand there... House do I destroy the infected houses?

You have to actually use the attack command, you can't just right click them.
