Yeah, I know . The normal state (unlinked) is very processing-intensive. I tried my best to optimize that part of code and make it use less processes, alas it's still laggy. You should've seen it at first .

The linked part is graphic-wise laggy. However, that can be easily countered by replacing the ball models with models with less particles, as well as the bottom models.

However, due to the use of the tower, in a real TD, there would never be too many towers of this kind and never in the same spot, so I guess that the tower idea solves by itself the lagginess of it.

Still, if you are doing intensive tests, yeah, it becomes laggy .

About the tower linking problem afore mentioned, that is actually how it is designed to work. A tower can link to other towers only X times but others can link to it an unlimited amount of times.

Import: Copy the folder "Libraries" and paste it in your map. Then Copy the folder "Lightning Tower" and paste it in your map. Copy the Lightning Tower, Advanced Lightning Tower and Dummy in the Object Editor.

A pretty simple tower. Deals damage equal to 1/5 of the enemies HP every 3 seconds, for 9 seconds. I could not get a decent screenshot.

Takes several triggers, but all work effectively and efficiently.
Each spell is to bounce up to 5 units, each jump dealing full damage.
Towers can change to a target not immune to magic if previously targeted unit is immune to magic.
Allows a choice between 3 spells to be automatically cast, all of which are of equal effect except for the stated difference.
Not entirely flashy as these prove to be fairly cheap towers, therefore giving excess effects would cause visual lag with the possibility of multiple towers.

Interesting tower, I must say. A couple problems: the tower simply disappears if you build it on the low ground, and does not seem to face the correct direction if built at the exact corners of the outer ring of high ground.
