Environment Cheryl Crow says Control Toilet Paper to help Global Warming

Singer Sheryl Crow has said a ban on using too much toilet paper should be introduced to help the environment.

Crow has suggested using "only one square per restroom visit, except, of course, on those pesky occasions where two to three could be required".

The 45-year-old, who made the comments on her website, has just toured the US on a biodiesel-powered bus to raise awareness about climate change.

She teamed up with environmental activist Laurie David for the shows.

Here is another idea, not entirely out of the realm of scientific thought:

- We could all conserve our excreted waste into recyclable containers
- NASA could then stow aboard previously decommissioned Space Shuttles.
- On entering orbit, said excrement could be jettisoned into space by professionally trained Astronauts to form something akin to a giant excretal barrier.
- This barrier, in turn, would block the sun, and thereby contribute to a cooling of the Earth's surface.

We inhabitants of earth could then go about our daily business, and perhaps enjoy a few extra squares of toilet paper with the knowledge that we're doing our business for the benefit of a better planet.
