Can we detect a units ability level ? through triggers

What i actually wat to do is,

In my RPG map i have a lot of custom option like critical hit evasion

Original Critical hit rate = attackers critical hit rate - opponents critical hit evasion

There would be a ability whose level increase by the amount of critical hit evasion.

when i need to detect the amount of critical hit hit evasion of a unit i could detect it with a trigger which sees the level of a ability(hope its possible)

or is there any other solution's?

You can create a simple Integer variable, and set it to the level of that ability whenever the level of the ability changes. Then you can simply reference that Integer variable.

It would look sometihng like this:

Trigger:
  • Set CriticalLevelInteger = Level of (Critical Hit) for [your unit]

I am saying something else

E.g.

A casts a spell on B

Detect level of the ability (CE) of B and store it in a variable

Damage it accordingly
(if its is possible)

If i set a variable for each unit and detect it through trigger there would be a lot of extra work which needed to be done

I found the condition you are looking for:

Trigger:
  • (Level of Ancestral Spirit for (Dying unit)) Equal to 1


It's under "Integer Comparison -> Unit - Level of Abillity for Unit" :thup:

wow great

actually i was looking for save level of a unit ability in a variable but still this is great its just 1 more looping
