Amplify Damage

I've been doing some searching on the DotA mechanics forum as well as this forum and cannot seem to find an answer to my problem.

What I'm trying to do is amplify the damage a target takes while in its alternate form of the Druid's Bear Form-based ability.

What I'm trying to do is similar to the amplify damage from Dirge the Undying's ultimate from DotA, if you're familiar with it, only a little bit more simple.

What is to happen, is, while the unit is in the alternate form, all damage all damage it takes is increased by 25%.

This is the closest I've come...

*Note: Berserker (berserking) is the alternate form unit that is to receive the amplified damage the entire time it is in this alternate form.

What happens is...nothing...No damage increase takes place.

Any insight into how this may go about being solved is much appreciated...

this thing with damage taken seems to be really tricky, you should make an eventless trigger with these actions AND a trigger that gives it the event Triggering unit takes damage on event Unit is attacked. And you should multiply by 0.25, else it deals 2.25xDamage.

You can try and alter Spirit Link (Orc - Spirit Walker) in the following way:
Tweak Spirit Link's stats (see below) to your needs, afterwards make two triggers - first one, that will cast the altered Spirit Link on your unit each time it casts its "shapeshift"; second one, that will remove the buff each time it goes out of its form. I reckon Spirit Link's maximum duration is 3600 seconds, so time will not be a problem.

Spirit Link itself:
The default value is set to 0.50, right? That means friendly targets will share 50% of the incoming damage. Now if you set the targets to enemy and increase the value to over 1.00 the following will happen: they will take more damage. Example:

Value is 1.05 = 5% more damage.
Value is 2.00 = 100% more damage.
Value is 1.50 = 50% more damage.

I think that sums it up. Hope it helps.

Would that work for single targets? He doesn't want the morphed unit to take additional damage, but nearby enemies, just make a periodic event that happens every 1 second and targets nearby enemies within a 600 AOE and buff them with a 1-second spirit link with edited values if your solution works that is.
