In that video, he speaks in Japanese (at least, i hope he does, he did say something close to Konichiwa) and i would ask that someone subtitle it so that i dont interpret something wrong in the video.

Thanks in advance

EDIT: Japanese Fonts aren't allowed here. :(

Center is ???.

It would be replaced by question marks. I wondered if it's possible to input Japanese somewhere, including in the PMs, since it even can't allow Japanese characters.

why do you like this tutorial?
there are tons of others.. in english..

anyway, i think Renendaru might be able to help you..

Its a certain method that he himself made and uses, and i think he would be best at interpreting it.

Thats right, speedcubers are that picky.

For example

Instead of interpreting what he's trying to say, try following in his steps.

Let's say he's showing his finger in between the center faces of green and orange, then he shows you the method. All you got to do, is to pause the video, then follow along with what he has done in the video. If you didn't get it, rewind, and repeat.

It's better like that than to rely on someone who learns Japanese. The old wise saying:

"It's better to do a task on your own than to ask someone to help you with a task."

After all, you're not in a contest, so why being picky about it anyway?

He might say something that differs from what he is pointing at, he could be saying something about what you arnt looking at. etc.

1. I would like to be generally faster, as i am looking for sub 1:30 before i get a 5x5, considering that the method for the 4x4 works for all the other larger cubes after some adjusting.
2. Whenever a competition happens.

If he did, my senses would tell that he is doing something unnatural. If you're not good at telling apart some actions naturally, I rest my case.

1 and 2. Oh...:p

He is speaking Japanese, but all he's saying is basic rubik's cube solutions as far as I can tell...

Edit: I'd subtitle it and all, but I really don't have the time this week. I'm really busy, I'm afraid.

I too can hear Japanese, although I can't listen to it.
Thanks to my stupid speech class, yes, there is a difference.

So basically you want us to translate a 9 minute long video of some japanese guy completing a rubix cube, when you can find thousands of other in english, oh right, this japanese dude got a special style of solving the cube? Am I understanding this right?

he is not solving the ruiks cube. he is pairing edges (i doubt that matters if you dont understand :/)

And yes, it is special, because i dont think its that much of a pain to write down what he is saying.

Yes, you're right that it's not much of a pain to write something down. But, the hard part is the converting.

Plus, we have to consider dialects, pronunications, syllables, grammer, then proper English grammer, proper English sentence and its meaning, and time.

So, it's wiser to try finding an alternative. This link is you local and native language friend.

Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though
  • Varine Varine:
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
  • Varine Varine:
Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm
  • Varine Varine:
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
  • Varine Varine:
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
  • Varine Varine:
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
  • Varine Varine:
Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
