Cannot open my game because of a bad model.

I made a model with Gmax and put it in my game.... I am not sure what the problem is with my model, I have made other models without this happening, but now I can not open my map....It does not matter what is wrong with the model, I just want to delete it so that I can open my map again. Anyways, I could probably recover my map if I could open it without loading the visual component, and delete the model, is this possible?

Delete it via an MPQ editor.
