Why Death Knights are considered a 'Hero Class':
They are a much more specific class, not to mention they are designed after the Hero class from WC3. In addition, you must have already leveled a character to 55 before making one. Not to mention they start at 55, and have their own starting area.
In addition, they have a class-specific lore, not race-specific. They are a bigger part of the storyline, in WotLK.

Ghan has said he has fixed this. Monovertex please confirm this fix. This was only a problem with people that had signatures in the upper levels like not the special members but the respected members.
