Do effect groups useful for you?

What is effect group?:nuts:
Unit group is used to group up units; effect group is used to group up effects.

I am going to release the effect group. If it is useful for most, I will release it, otherwise, I won't.

if you can actually pick any effect at location then it sounds useful
does it also work with lightning effects?

because it would be awesome for my, almost forgotten polygon system (I could make unlimited amount of effects with that)

you could post the code here so we can see what is it all about

The idea is somewhat useful.
It's also a good guess to say that the code is shit.

I made something like this a while back - Trigger Groups.
I also had something very similar WIP, which I may finish (For lightning).

This seem utterly useless to me, mainly because most effect are destroyed the nanosecond they are created (unless they are attachments), and if they are not they are most likely some kind of projectile which might as well use the dummy model.

Though my biggest concern as it is now is the code, since it most likely is about as beautiful and user-friendly as an unmaintained public restroom.

  • Set effect = random effect in effect group

Surely you could make a simple trigger liekt hat
