Flamethrower - Bit of Maths Help.

I'm working on a Flamethrower type of "Spell", which works out pretty similar to the standard Multi Shot type ability.

Basically I need a little help with some maths.
I want to alter the x/y starting points per each projectile.

Instead of this:

I'm aiming for something more like this:

Looking for a little maths help on how to get the other 4 starting points.
Heres a more detailed diagram:

  • Green Ball = Shooter
  • Yellow X/Y Ball = Main Starting Point
  • Red Line = Main Angle
  • Blue Crosses = the 4 X/Y Co-Ords I want

So basically in a loop would it just be +90/-90 anglewise then +/- the dist I want>?
What calculation would you use?

1.make a point of in front of you
2.get casters facing and substract 90
3. now you go into a loop and start with offset - 120 and increase it by 60 until its 120. the angle is what you got from 2.
4. do what you want with these coords

u pretty much made it all simple for u to figure it out by your picture:
simply get the point infront of u and add to it's X for the right locations and decrease from it's X for the left locations (the amount should be your decision)
