From one Developer to Another

I dont know if this post is in the correct place.

I dont really need help but I thought I would share a quick experience of mine.

I spent about 6-8 hours making 4 custom abilities. It was a headache, they were all GUI I didn't worry about MUI cause I didn't need them. Then my map was corrupted and I had to start all over.

I decided to try out JASS just for those 4 abilites and finished in 2 hours. I can go through abilities at a much faster pace in JASS. I have no experience with JASS, and to everyone who refused to try JASS due to fear, I humbly suggest you read over some of the newbie tutorials and see if you cant learn it. It might help you too.

It really depends on the person... Some people are not that talented in programming and it might be harder for them to learn Jass.

depends on the situation. if the stuff is possible to be code in gui without problem, use gui.. or else use jass

I like GUI. I still don't know everything about GUI. Of course, I would be happy to learn JASS.
