Help with WOW model viewer, will give rep

I can only view a few models in WOW model viewer. Do you have to kill them in game to view them or something? Also, I do File>View NPC, and when I click on one, it says run time error. What is going on? I will give rep to anyone that can help.

Sometimes models won't show, and it can bug sometimes. I am not exactly sure what the problem is though, because you have to do a certain thing to make it crash.

It just crashes when I select an NPC from the list. Maybe I should go download the main client, because I am using the trial version. Anyway, thankyou.

Why would you want to view them? So you can rip them and make models for warcraft 3? >.>

There are many uses for them, Movies, images, possible Warcraft 3 models, but that isn't our business is it. I suggest you read the forums of the Model Vier and see the errors you might get, and this program is ment for the actual game, not a trial, because they use some blizzard .mdx files that you can't get unless you install the game.
