How do I add "Ward" classification

How can I add "Ward" classification to a unit, with triggers and the remove the "Ward" classification with triggers?

Basicly what I want is to disable Player control over the unit, order the unit to move to a point and then enable Player Control again

I thought of changing it to Neutral Passive, but then the enemies of the player wont be able to attack the unit.

did you try:

Unit - Add classification of Ward to (Triggering unit)

also i belive that will just hide the ability buttons the unit has and you will still be able to move it via right click.

but of course you could trigger it either with a periodic event or an order event.

I thought classifying a unit as a "ward" stopped the unit from being able to cast spells and move, but apparently, I was wrong. I just tested with a peasant and, though the entire command card disappeared, I was still able to control the peasant...


Anyways, just do: Unit - Add Classification.
Search "Classification" if you can't find it.


Edit: Drat. One minute slow. :[

Ill just deselect the unit and order it to move. It works fine in my map.
