How to add unit armors via triggers

How can I add unit armors via triggers? Please Help me, thanks!

Edit: I need a way to do it without using upgrades.
 
If you want Base Armor, then use Upgrades.
Configure amount of armor you want at "Combat - Defense Upgrade Bonus"
Create a dummy upgrade, set "Data - Effect 1" to "Apply Defense Upgrade Bonus"
Then set the unit to be able to receive the upgrade: "Techtree - Upgrades Used"

Trigger:
  • Player - Set the current research level of <your upgrade name> to 1 for Player 1 (Red)
 
Err.. I dun tink it is possible, unless you don't want base armor, then you can use Item Abilities.
 
you can increase it using tomes, but i forget whether it is decreasable by using them with a negative value... if you plan to do this, you must have a hero type inventory on the unit, i believe it can be set to 0 item slots as long as its on the unit

    I have converted the Headline News forum to an Article type forum. It will now show the top 20 threads with more detail of each thread.

    I do not see a way to go past the 1st page of posts on the forum though

    It is OK though for the main page to open up on the forum in the view it was before. As long as the portal has its own URL so it can be viewed that way I do want to try it as a regular forum view for a while

    Yeah I'm not sure what the deal is with the pagination.

    It SHOULD be there so I think it might just be an artifact of having an older style.

    I switched it to a "Standard" article forum. This will show the thread list like normal, but the threads themselves will have the first post set up above the rest of the "comments"
