How to use grunt's spell anim?

I was trying to give my grunts the "Berserk" ability of the troll berserker. I have two problems:
1) I want the grunt to use his "spell" animation. Can I do this in the object editor (if yes, where?) or do I have to use Magos?
2) I changed the Berserk ability's button to the Berserker Strength icon but everytime the ability is used the "Status" section of the unit flashes the original Troll's icon. (This may sound confusing but I think you get my question.)

if grunt has his spell animation you can do that by editing berserk's animation names to his animation

To the second question, I guess what the problem is is that while you've changed the icon of the skill, the buff still has a different icon. You have to change the buff itself for this. Go to the Effect/Buff tab in the object editor, find the buff, and change whatever you need. Good luck!

Alright, I figured out the second problem - that was simple.

I still can't figure out the first problem. The grunt model is actually a simple-edit custom model but it still has the spell anim. Do I right this:
